I think it is stretch to make those claims, and they just don't make sense.

I am sure he's had conversations with various about all his options.Dof87noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7925605977955920392.post-70518523261034365722009-09-24T09:19:43.347-04:002009-09-24T09:19:43.347-04:00^

There was concern earlier with him going school to school, about his eligibility but I don't believe that is an issue anymore.

Without saying too much about grades, since they are off-limits to discuss because of privacy issues, the staff has seen his transcripts and are still recruiting him as hard, or harder than ever. So take that for what it's worth. He'll play college ball.Wolfpack Hoopshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07952147309857745596noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7925605977955920392.post-54222678052651565382009-09-24T09:12:43.558-04:002009-09-24T09:12:43.558-04:00http://www.fayobserver.com/Articles/2009/09/24/936...http://www.fayobserver.com/Articles/2009/09/24/936816

Apparently, Luke Cothron won't be playing for State, or any college for that matter.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7925605977955920392.post-76675762904972004242009-09-23T23:32:40.844-04:002009-09-23T23:32:40.844-04:00i can't wait. i think this is a really great ...i can't wait. i think this is a really great idea making it more of an event rather than cutting into football tailgating the way the red & white game used to do. i love having it in reynolds, there's so much history in that building. i'll be there now that i'm back in raleigh.j.solhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15017865372838804365noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7925605977955920392.post-77400726696581185332009-09-23T23:24:26.192-04:002009-09-23T23:24:26.192-04:00I recall attending the (almost exactly) same event...I recall attending the (almost exactly) same event before Lowe's second year. It was really cool. The volleyball game lasted longer than expected, but it was well worth it. It wa an exciting time after the run through the NIT and all of the hype around the Hickson class. The thing that I remember most is sitting on the front row of the upper deck, along the sidelines with my 11 year old nephew. Good seats, right?

Turns out, they must not have put the student stands in under the sidelines because the cheerlaeaders se up right in front of us. I didn't think anything about it until several young ladies shot up in front of us, about 4 feet away, holding one of their own ankles! I had to sheild my nephew's eyes! And I thought, "I could be brought up on charges, depending on the ages of these girls, just by looking in that direction!

Suffice it to say, my nephew really enjoyed himself, and I was thoroughly flabergasted! I was close enough to introduce myself, shake their hands, and ask them to stop. I didn't, but I could have!

All in all, it was a fun evening.

Redfred, hopefully, Sid knows that those things have to change. I also remember the scene at Derr track. While "quaint" it did show that the people are what makes this University, not the administration. TOB has been great about inviting/celebrating our (limited) football heritage. Maybe Sid will be influenced to do the same. Somebody is reading the message boards in Wm Raliegh, these days. As evidenced by the reaction to the new uniform designs.

Go Pack!ppack3https://www.blogger.com/profile/09213303572407520015noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7925605977955920392.post-36777917292888706412009-09-23T20:58:19.965-04:002009-09-23T20:58:19.965-04:00^Johnny Thomas can throw down some sick dunks too....^Johnny Thomas can throw down some sick dunks too...
