awesome Zo video fellas! It's good to finally get some more Lorenzo footage. Although I do love your Ryan Harrow videos, I've seen a lot of him and have been wanting to see more of Lorenzo. so thank you.
you guys are getting sick at video editing by the way
He seems to have a long wingspan for his height. Very impressive athlete.

My only concern is size when it comes to our incoming guards. The tarholes get big dudes for every position and seem to dwarf the competition. Tall stature and long arms help their defense. I hope our guys can overcome that in the near future. Not a slight on Lo; he looks great!

This guy will be our best recruit next year - hands down, take it to the bank. He's a get it done guy who will find a way to score and d up with that frame.
I feel ya WolfpCop. Man, ZO was tearing it up. It will be great to have him on the team next year. It is fun to watch his style out on the court. Props on the video WPH it was great.
Him an harrow in the backcourt is going to be mighty fun to watch. I think these two are so fast that they will have an instant impact. I had mentioned before I liked how Davis, and Painter caused chaos on the d side of the ball ican only imagine what Zo and Ryan will ad chaos factor. This is what we need organized chaos.

it's cool spottin coach harris and painter in the background towards the beginning. i love the fact that the current players are eager to check out who we got coming in. i feel that family vibe building again.

You guys have got to realize what you have in Lorenzo Brown. He is without a doubt the best recruit that you guys have coming in. He's a 6-5.5 explosive combo guard that will be the best player on the team next year. Harrow is good, but if you look how both players game's translate to the next level you will see that brown's game will translate much easier, and more effective.

I agree with the above poster. I have seen Brown play in person a few times and he is absolutely a monster. Did you see his guns in the beginning of that video. He has been hitting the weights since the last time I saw him play. In fact, at last year's Glaxo I felt that Brown was an overall better player than John Wall. I think he'll come in and really be ready to step right in while ryan will have to get used to the physicality of Div. I ball.
I'm not saying that Ryan is not going to be great, but I just feel that Brown will impact earlier.
This is a FANTASTIC argument to be having! IMO, Harrow and Lo Bro (AKA Nice and Smooth) are going to take a (very) little while to learn the offense and get use to the pace and physicality of the game. After that, other teams are the ones that are going to have to get used to the speed of their games!
True, Smooth is physically prepared to step in right away. But, I contend, The PG position is one that can withstand a smaller player. The game is progressively more physical as you go from PG to C. That's not to say that PG isn't physical, but you have to catch Nice before you can get physical with him. I can't even imagine Ryan gettin' the rock swiped from him. I know it'll happen, but he has handles that I haven't seen on a normal circuit.
The rebound/one-handed switch reverse? SICK! And effortless. Damn. That got me jazzed. Now, I'm going to have to go watch it again. Peace.
I want to second the poster who mentioned showing their misses. With a basketball player, it would be much better if you all showed every shot he took, misses and makes. Gives a much much better feel for how he is as a player. I know it is not as exciting, but just highlights/makes can be very deceiving.
I am tryin' to temper my enthusiasm about this kid's game. But, Damn this young man is definitely on a level as a Balla the NC State has only witnessed from afar, on the opposing teams. He is definitely a game changer.

I totally disagree. No offense to Brown, but you see a few players like Brown in every class. Harrow is a once in a decade type of player. If he were 10 or 15lbs heavier he would be, hands-down, the best player in the nation. He has handles that most PG's can't even dream of, he's got court vision that coaches salivate over, he's can score from anywhere on the floor but enjoys getting his teammates involved in the game more than he does scoring. That being said he can still drop 30 on you at any given time and take over the game.
I like Brown. I think Brown is going to be an EXTREMELY good player. I just think Harrow could possibly be one of the best NCSU players of all time if he stays for 3-4 years and isn't injured. I haven't said that since Rodney Monroe. This kid is SERIOUSLY good.

I agree. No one, except coaches evaluating for recruiting purposes, watches film of a player's entire reel (misses, turnovers, etc.). Obviously he isn't perfect and you know he misses shots, but you watch the highlights to see his potential and capabilities. If you really want to know what kind of player he is in game situations then use the schedules WPH posts and go scout the kid live.

You put Harrow, Brown, Wood, Leslie, Cothron on the floor at the same time and you're going to beat pretty much any team out there. The weak spot IMO would be Cothron as he's not a TRUE center. But when you're talking about Luke Cothron (or arguably Scott Wood) being the weak link, you've got a STRONG lineup on the floor.

I wonder how much influence Ryan Harrow will have on Browns decision to stay in school. Its obvious he wont be at State for 4 years because that would make him 5 years removed from high school and he's too good to do that. I doubt he goes straight to the draft this year. My hope is that he'll want to play with Harrow for at least 2 years.

Harrow is awesome - no doubt. But there's a reason why all the major sites have him as the 7th or 10th best pg in the country. Saying that he's the best in the country and that he's going to be one of the best ncsu all time players is overly aggressive. I agree that Lo Brown (who was ranked much higher than Harrow on espn) will be our best recruit next year, and the best since JJ. Only he'll be a bigger contributer than JJ was for us.
anyway you slice it, it's a sick backcourt. let's lock cj down and have the best class since j-hodge's.
Realwolfpacker/wolfpack4eva, I said the same thing earlier, and I agree! That's a SOLID line up for sure!!!
Man, won't it be nice to FINALLY see the switch when other teams and coaches stop licking their chops, and start DREADING seeing the name NC STATE on their schedules!!!

so if he were 15lbs heavier he would jump almost 10 other guards in his class? that really doesn't make sense. sure, his size factors in certainly, but to say that it's the only thing is ridiculous. again, it doesn't matter because we all know he's awesome, but maybe calm down a little right?
Um, you people are omitting the blatantly obvious. Ryan Harrow committed to NC State, and he did it a looong time ago.

Let me first say that i am as excited about Ryan Harrow as anyone. The kid has "it." "It" is something that has been missing in our players for a long time. The offensive end is not a concern at all for Harrow. The problem is on the defensive end. Until he gains some strength, he will struggle against bigger guards. Some teams may try to post him up with 6'5" 215 lb guards. That, my friends is truly an area of concern. Offensively he's as skilled as any guard out there, but there is a reason that Brandon Knight is the #1 PG in this class.
When all is said and done, I believe that Ryan will be a great one! However, until all is said and done, let's be patient with the growing and learning process that will have to take place with Ryan "Scrap" Harrow.
