Wolfpack Hoops Exclusive: JOSH DAVIS

As far as we know this is the first Josh Davis video to hit the web. With a frame like his, and ups like this, there is no reason to believe Josh is anything but a serious "sleeper" in this 2009 recruiting class, and could prove to be a big piece to this Wolfpack team for years to come. We'd like to thank Webb Wellman over at OneEntertainment for mixing this for us! And keep checking back because we got to hang out and talk with Josh a little today and we'll be posting everything soon!

For some reason he looks bigger than 6'6 in the video. He has a nice size body on him. Look forward to see him attack the offensive glass for the pack.

Do you for sure know that his mom is sick again? Or is it just a rumor?

    Wolfpack Hoops,

Thanks for the update on John Wall I guess we were all hoping he would say he is going to NC State but I know we have to stay on the edge of our seat !!! Nothing is easy for a State fan but hey we are still the best fans in America. Great updates on this site I have fallen in love with it and its true positive information not alot of negativity. Our thoughts and prayers go out to John Wall's family because I hear his mother is not doing very well and just want him to know that no matter where he goes to school next year that we wish him and his family the best and to keep your head up John and your mom will always be proud of you !!! I have a couple of questions if you dont mind Wolfpack Hoops.

    1. Is there any news on who Towe and Harris was down to see in the JUCO tournament? any prospects?

    2. Where do we stand with Jordan Vandenberg? if you don't have any information on him can you please try to see what you can find about his status?

    3. Is there any truth that Seth Curry is considering transferring to NC State? I have heard from a couple of sources that he has been in contact with us ?

Lastly I just want to say I am so ready to see a change in culture here next year with a breath of fresh air with new young athletic hard working coachable players like brown, howell, wood, davis because these guys LOVE NC State and that means ALOT to the true fans. People are REALLY underestimating Wood & Davis and they will see next year that both of these guys are going to be fun to watch. Thanks for all you do on this site! I am going to leave with a JIMMY V quote:

"Never give up! Failure and rejection are only the first step to succeeding."

According to Wall's cousin, who we talk to on occasion, John's mom was pretty sick about a week ago. I did not ask much, just said that i was sorry and hope she gets better.

    TJ,
Thanks so much for the support and compliments. As for your questions, I'll be more than happy to answer them.

    1) As far as I know Harris and Towe were just down at that Tournament to observe. I don't think they have any serious targets. Bo Ingram might be someone we continue to look at but I'm not positive he'll receive an offer.

2.) I have not heard all that much on Vandenberg lately. This usually means there isn't really much going on. I think its at the point where either we lost a little interest or he lost some.

3.) As far as Curry is concerned, I'm not aware of any calls that have been made from our end or his. We might want to watch this though because of Sid's NBA Connections and Dell Curry being Seth's dad. There is a transfer that has inquired (as was posted all over the message boards) and he is a good one, but we can not reveal his name just yet.

Everyone keeps asking about Curry... that's all well and good but I think we still need a big man in this class. I understand about the transfer, however, are we making any kind of a real push for Marcius? He looks like a beast but no real offers yet. Why doesn't he have many offers and are we seriously in the hunt or just giving him a lil token attention... just in case.

Are we looking at Sandy Marcius? If not, why? If so, what are the chances of landing him?

    1) He's playing 4A high school ball against a lot of future college athletes. He has faced numerous college players in the Tri 8 and is playing much better comp. than a lot of these private school kids.

No recruit (outside of prep schools) is playing any kind of elite competition night in and night out.

    2) We were looking at Marcius and we've scouted him for a while. Sid wasn't all that high on him the first few times he saw him. I'm sure they're watching and if they feel he progresses we may throw an offer out there. But I doubt it right now.

To the comment about him playing against boys. Are you forgetting that he is just a boy himself. Looking forward to him growing into a man with the pack.
