Last night Brandon Costner erupted out in Vegas. In a game in which the Bulls beat the Knicks 90-84, Costner almost matched his scoring effort with his playing time. Brandon scored 21 points in 25 minutes of action. He couldn't miss, shooting 7-11 from the field and 3-5 from deep range. Today is the last day of the NBA Summer League out in Vegas, which means that this is Costner's last chance to show that he belongs. The Bulls play the Minnesota Timberwolves at 6pm today.
Cedric Simmons also had his best game of the summer last night. Ced has been struggling to get in an offensive groove all week long, but last night was a different story. Simmons ended up in double-digits for the first time, scoring 11 points on 4-7 shooting in a 94-90 victory over the D-League Select team. Ced City's Summer League finale will be tonight against the New Orleans Hornets at 8:30pm.
