Tuesday Night Recap

Centennial wasn't about to let Lassiter stop them from going undefeated in Regional play last night. Lorenzo Brown's versatility was on display once again. His 16 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 steals led the Knights to a 63-54 victory. Centennial has already clinched the #1 seed in the Regional tourney next week and they also have the chance to do something that they have never done in their school's history: have an undefeated regional record. Roswell is the last team that stands in the way of Centennial and history this Friday night at the Roundtable. Lorenzo Brown also has his own personal shot at the record books this Friday night. Six points is all that stands between him and the 2,000 point barrier for his career.

Walton squeaked out a win last night against Pope in an 82-81 victory. Ryan Harrow's scoring touch returned with 30 points. The Raiders are now 16-7 on the year and have a monster of a challenge in their final regular season game this Friday night against Wheeler at home.

Speaking of Wheeler, they were victorious last night over Campbell to the chime of 78-65. Richard Howell led his team with 21 points and he has been the anchor to this team's turnaround. Wheeler is now 17-6 and, as stated earlier, they have to jump on the bus and take a quick trip over to Walton for a Top-10 showdown in their final regular season game this Friday.
