Word of God (16-6) got their revenge last night against Ravenscroft. After scoring 17 points in a 59-68 loss to the Ravens on January 7th, John Wall upped his ante last night by scoring 28 points in a 82-64 victory over their Raleigh rival. Bishop Daniels also had his best game ever at Word of God with 21 points and C.J. Leslie was back to form with 19 points. This marks WOG's 9th straight win.
By the way, Coach Lowe was in attendance.
The N & O had an article this morning entitled "No doubt that Wall can play." Check it out...it's a fun read. They compare last night to the Broughton vs. Reynolds game played in Reynolds 8 years ago that featured Shavlik Randolph, Anthony Richardson, and Shawan Robinson.
