Weekly Update From The League
From now on we will give you a "Weekly Update From The League" every Monday. We are proud to have 3 Pack Alum playing in the NBA right now and we are glad to keep you updated with how they are doing.
J.J. Hickson - Last week was a big week for rookie J.J. Hickson. He averaged 16.25 minutes a game last week in four contests. This is four minutes above his season average. He had a big game last Tuesday night in a 94-79 victory over Memphis. He had 10 points and 9 boards in 28 minutes. J.J. saw the least amount of action in a 74-93 loss to the Rockets last Thursday night, seeing the court for only 4 minutes. The Cavs went on to beat the Spurs on Friday night and J.J. scored 5 points in 14 minutes of play. J.J. also had a big impact in a 1 point victory over the Hawks yesterday. He had 6 points and 6 rebounds and shot 75% from the field. J.J.'s name got tossed around in numerous trade rumors a couple of weeks ago. The Cavs decided to stick with the explosive rookie and you can expect to see even more of Mr. Hickson down the stretch.
Josh Powell - Josh Powell is a diamond in the rough that the Lakers snatched out of Free Agency before the season began. He goes in night in and night out and plays quality moments. This past Tuesday night Josh played 14 minutes in a victory over Oklahoma City and scored 4 points. Two days later the Lakers crushed the Suns 132-106 and Josh Powell had 6 points and 6 rebounds in 21 minutes. The Nuggets got the best of the Lakers on Friday night and Josh pulled down 5 boards in 9 minutes in the loss. The Suns got revenge yesterday in a thriller and beat the Lakers 118-111. Josh put together an efficient performance of 6 points and 2 boards and shot 100% from the field.
Cedric Simmons - Ced City is still trying to get settled in at his new home in Sacramento. Since arriving on his new teem last week, Ced has seen action in 3 contests and he he averaged 4 minutes per game. In the 12 total minutes Ced has played for the Kings he has only one field goal attempt. We love you Ced, let the people in Sacramento see one of those Monster Dunks or one of your patented blocks!

Not weird man...those are usually the ones who have the talent to play in the league in the first place.
well i do think all three had the talent to play in the pros but on the other hand all three, with maybe an exception to hickson, should of stayed in school.
