DeMarcus Cousins has been the subject of many of your questions over the past couple of weeks. Well the verdict is in and the final answer to all of the questions has been given: DeMarcus Cousins will follow Coach Cal to Kentucky. ESPN broke this news at around 2 o'clock this morning. We applaud Coach Lowe and his staff for being on this young man's final list. In fact, we are proud of the fact that NC State was (and still is with John Wall) in the final list of 3 out of the Top-5 players in the country. A couple of years back this type of talent wouldn't have even considered rolling with the Pack. Whether fans are willing to accept it or not, this is progress folks. Getting in the mix with the nations top talent year in and year out bodes well for the future of our program.
With all this being said, we should be ecstatic with what we have coming next year. We have already inked a Top-25 recruiting class (regardless of what Wall does) with the '09 class and we believe that the staff is going to put together a dynamic '10 class built around Ryan Harrow.

3 Responses to "Cousins to Kentucky"I'm interested in seeing how this plays out as Kentucky also had Daniel Orton (another 5 star center) coming in and i'm not sure how they will split playing time between the two of them.
Daniel Orton is now asking for a release from Kentucky
It's looking like the official visitor back at the UMd game from Australia will the next big priority (other then the constant positioning for Prep underclassman).
There are a few big men coming and going but the safe bet on where they might land is usually with teams that came close the first time.
