Update From the D-League

Cameron Bennerman: After playing the first half of this season with Autocid Ford Burgos in Spain, Cam has landed himself in Cali and is finishing the season playing for the Anaheim Arsenal of the NBA D-League (NBA Affiliates: Atlanta Hawks and L.A. Clippers). It didn't take long for Cam to get in the groove. In his first game with the team on March 11th, he came off the bench and scored 14 points and gathered 4 steals in 29 minutes. Cam has since then worked his way into the starting lineup. He has started in 5 out of the 8 games that he has played with the Arsenal averaging 13.3ppg in 36 minutes of play. His best performance of the season came on March 20 when he erupted on Iowa for 23 points. The Arsenal have 4 more games left in the regular season and the next one is this Saturday against Bakersfield. They are 15-31 on the year and sit in last place in the West Division.

Gavin Grant
: When Gavin Grant left NC State after last season he was drafted by the Utah Flash (NBA Affiliates: Utah Jazz and Boston Celtics) of the NBA D-League. He has averaged 8.7ppg in 19 minutes per game in his rookie campaign. Gavin has shown that he can be explosive with 5 games of 20+ points including two in which he scored 28 (December 15th and January 2nd). The Utah Flash currently sit in 1st place in the West Division with a 27-16 record. The Flash have six games left on their schedule with the next one being on Friday night versus the T-Birds. Gavin and Cam have already gotten the chance to tangle once on March 27th and they will do so again on April 8th.

I didn't realize these guys were playing in the states. Thanks for the update guys. Hope both of them make it.

P, I know what you mean. My favorite Bennerman moment had to be the throwdown he put on Shelden Williams. We gotta get a link to that...

let's not jump to conclusions just yet. We haven't heard anything, just a rumor spreading like wild fire through the message boards.

We're doing our best to find out about the truth of this.

Talked to one of our sources and he said no one knows anything about the rumors that he's talked to. Which most likely means there's nothing to it.

However, If something is up with Lee then it's being done at a very high level.

Thanks for the update WPH. Pretty sure it doesn't get any higher than the BOT. I think right now the emergency meeting is the only that can be confirmed (if even that).
