VIDEO: Ryan Harrow vs. Centennial
As we mentioned earlier, Ryan's mom was gracious enough to lend us some DVD's of Ryan's games from this past season. This is one of many highlight reel's to come.
This game (January 16th, 2009) was a gut wrencher for Walton. They took Centennial, who was #1 in the state of Georgia for a huge chunk of the year, to the wire. Ryan's 31 points paced the Raiders.

Every time I see a video of Ryan he impresses me more and more. I've never been more excited to see a player coming into State. He's got speed with the dibble, he's got range, he can put the ball on the deck and finish above the rim, he's got incredible court vision and to cap it all off he is a high character guy.
He's like Russell Wilson in that its too good to be true and I'm waiting for the catch. . . Unbelievable
I think #12 just became my favorite number
what i liked from this video is it showed his ability to move without the ball. we already know he's amazing with the ball in hands and it looks like he always knows the right spot to be in without the ball as well.
big thank you to ryan's mom for providing us with all this footage. we love you guys.
We love the Wolfpack as well!!!!
Ryan's Mom
Thanks for the footage again,
Near the end of the vid Ryan runs the base line on a set play to reverse it to the corner. He cut well w/o the ball and his teammate delivered a picture perfect pass. They are obviously receiving some great teaching from Coach Goydus(sp?)
But what I really appreciated from the play is that it took him well below 1 second to catch/square up/and release the ball. It was lighting quick and smooth- just like the rest of his game.
Ryan's Mom,
Thanks for the video! Can't wait to have you in the RBC cheering on your son!
I love Ryan for obvious reasons.
I love his Mom for being so willing to share those videos and giving me a reason to smile today. Thanks for providing those. Can't wait to see you son in Red & White.
^ I've said it before and I'll say it again, Ryan and his family are the nicest most genuine people we have dealt with since we've started this site.
and it's a pleasure to have them joining the Wolfpack family!
How can he be only a 3-star? I've seen some 4-star and 5-star guys this year thanks to the GSK among other things, and Harrow is clearly with the 5-star crowd.
My first post, and love the attitude of this site.
Ryan will be a special, special wolfpacker. It makes you not worry about missing on John Wall if that happens to be the case.
I also really like Lorenzo Brown, reminds me of Juan Dixon from Maryland a little.
All the kids we are bringing in are major basketball talents and excited to have them.
Deansux,
Thanks and we're certainly glad to have you! I think you'll see Lorenzo play the role similar to Juan Dixon. He's a little bit bigger, and will most likely play a bigger role as a freshman than Juan did (14 minutes, 7.4pts per game). Or at least we hope so!
I had the privelage of seeing this great game in person. I was really impressed with Ryan and Lorenzo, can't wait to see them both in Red and White.
Ryan has an amazing quick pullup jumper. He consistently made bunny shots in the lane and circus style layups. It seemed like he would get his shot off so fast no one even had chance to contest it. I really think his athleticism is under-rated b/c of his smaller size (for now).
Love this site and the positive vibe here! Thanks!
