Aldridge Calls Fells A Sleeper

Earlier today on TNT's David Aldridge went one-on-one with some NBA bloggers, answering their questions about tomorrows NBA draft. When asked about who he thought were sleepers in tomorrows draft, Courtney Fells was one of the two names that he threw out.

"Who are some of your sleepers in this Draft?

DA: Oh boy, sleeper that's always kind of a loaded question. If you're talking about a guy that nobody's heard of, that nobody knows anything about...I'll give you a couple guys that I think might have a chance to surprise some people...the other guy is Courtney Fells out of NC State, a guy that was kind of up and down the last couple years at NC State. He's an incredible, freakish athlete that may be one of those guys that comes out as a free agent or a second round pick. He's going to be one of those highlight reel guys that people are going to like seeing."

Man I hope so. It would be great to see Courtney become the player he's always been capable of being. Athletically speaking, he's close to as good as NC State has ever seen.

He just needs to get his ball handling worked out and I think he'll be golden

I hate to say it, but I always knew he had the ability, and those abilities are exactly why he frustrated the pooh out of me at NC State.

Good luck on the next level Courtney!

He had flashes of greatness. A few that come to mind are his performance at the old spice challenge. and the sickest block/palm/outlet pass most of us have ever seen:

I wish him the best, hopefully he'll go on and make us all proud. Good luck Courtney!

Any news on teams that are interested on signing Fells to a free agent deal?
