Was that your question about not missing the whole season? That was gold I tell ya...GOLD!
The response was funny too.

Very articulate, intelligent young man. I expect very, very big things from him. Hope he does miss some this season (not too much of course) cause I wanna see him stick around for 4 years.

Wood is going to end up being the most important recruit from this years class. I think he has the ability to be a ALL ACC caliber player and a great scorer. His handle and athletic ability is better than I expected. If he works on a dribble drive game and a mid-range pull up jumper he will be unstoppable. He's already my favorite player on the team.
Even before Lo Brown was found wanting & had to go to Hargrave, based on HS video, I said that Scott Wood with his smooth skills would be our most exciting recruit. I still believe that & hope mr Wood keeps shocking the world! Go SCOTT! Go PACK!

ESPN calls Scott Wood next JJ. Redick. Check it out:
Has he missed a shot yet?? At red rally and the game.. shooting 100%.. wonder if he missed one at the closed scrimmage..

Kid seems to really have it together. Dead-eye shooter, calm, and articulate.
His first college-game, in Reynolds, and he lights it up. And then handles the spot-light well.
I see a bright future for Scott, especially in the next few years. He should be a great ACCer, and a unique player that the wolfpack hasn't had in a long wihle.

This is WoodFan4Life - He is a genuinely great kid both inside and out! He is going to accomplish great things in his life and has worked very hard over the last 19 years to get to this point. The fact that the Wolfpack Family gets that about him is icing on the cake. His family is very proud of him. I hope you will be bringing your umbrellas to the RBC this year cause it is gonna be raining 3's!!!

I am just excited about Scott as anyone, but let's remember that he IS a Freshman. He will have some horrible games and some great games. I do think he was very underrated by most "experts".
