Wolfpack's Weekend Tournament To Be Televised At "The Brickhouse"

We just wanted to give everybody a heads up, and let them know where they can catch the Wolfpack on TV this weekend, since the games are not televised by any cable companies. The Pack is playing in the Glenn Wilkes Classic in Daytona Beach, Florida, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We have spoken with the guys over at "The Brickhouse: sports bar and grill" in Raleigh, and they have let us know that they will be hooking their big screens into the live internet feed provided by GlennWilkesClassic.com.

"The Brickhouse" is a NC State friendly sports bar and grill, located off of Hillsborough St, in Raleigh. It sits in the shopping center directly across from the entrance to Meredith College. It's a great place to watch a game, and has some of the best wings Raleigh has to offer.

We invite everybody to come out and cheer on the Wolfpack as they face their first true test of the young season. We will be covering it on location in Daytona and giving you game updates, so feel free to bring your laptops (they have free wi-fi.)

GAME TIMES:
NC State vs. Akron (Friday, 3:30pm)

NC State vs. Austin Peay (Saturday, 8:15pm)

NC State vs. Auburn (Sunday, 8:15pm)

The Other Site - in this case PackPride

Not a whole lot of info on Uchebo listed as 6 "10 to 7 "0 on different sites. Said to be very mobile with a strong inside presence. Only a sophmore so he could end up even taller by the time he gets to Raleigh. When ranking start coming out he is projected to be listed very high.

    Thanks werewolf.

I'm a member of packpride too but don't see the story.

Regardless, I hope its true. I know about Uchebo and this would be great towards building on the 2010 recruiting momentum.

Yeah, this staff just continues to impress on the recruiting trail. From everything I hear, this Uchebo kid has the potential to be a dominant center and a legitimate 7-footer. Keep in mind he is only a sophmore too. Plenty of time to work on his skills and develop. Someone need to get on the phone with Grandpa Lee and tell him to extend Sid's contract NOW....along with Larry Harris and everyone else on this staff.

The future is looking very, very bright for Wolfpack basketball.

After the game, I hope everyone stops by Reynolds to cheer on the Wolfpack Women as they take on Davidson. Time is 7pm. Harper is going for her 100th win as a head coach.

Agree with you RealWolfpacker. I find it comical how outsiders (ESPN, CBS, etc.) continue to report that Lowe is on the hotseat and could get ousted if the Pack struggle this year. That would be a HUUUGE mistake, and thats why it is imperative as wolfpack fans that we show coach lowe, his staff and the players the support they deserve for weathering a tough storm and fighting for sunnier days (which are certainly on the horizion).

Bobak The news about Uchebo is in the recruiting thread on the free boards

Gravis noted that this probaly shouldn't be public yet due to some immigration issues that are not 100% squared away, but a Greensboro newspaper mentioned that Uchebo was a NC State commit
