Centennial Makes it Two Championships in a Row...Brown Lands MVP
Centennial made it 2 Tournament victories in two weeks by winning their section of the Glaxo. After beating Father Carr in the first round Centennial went on to beat Knightdale 65-62 in a surprisingly close game for Centennial. Lorenzo Brown scored 17 points in the game, which ended his 4 game streak of 20+ ppg.
Centennial then moved on to play in the championship game last night against Ryan Kelly's (Duke commit) Ravenscroft. Centennial put a hurting on Ravenscroft by winning the championship game 72-53. Lo-Brown finished with 27 points (10-15 FG), 6 steals, and 4 assists. Lorenzo took home the tourney MVP and Ryan Kelly took home the tourney MOP as he put down 26 points and 9 boards in the championship game.
Centennial is now 9-1 on the year and Lorenzo Brown is averaging 21.6 ppg.
