The Pack picked up another win against Lipscomb on Saturday to move to 7-1 on the season. Lou and I were both out of town and were unable to go to the game...but here are a few notes from looking at the box score.
-State continued to shoot the ball well, shooting 50% from the field, and held Lipscomb to 35.5%. We currently lead the ACC in FG Percentage Defense and 3PT FG Percentage Defense.
-We finished the game with 20 assists and 9 turnovers. We are currently 3rd in the ACC in assists per game and 2nd in the ACC in Assist/Turnover ratio. This is a drastic improvement from last year.
-We continued to out-rebound our opponents by raking down 43 boards compared to Lipscomb's 35.
-On a final note Julius Mays brings in the Player of the Game award from Wolfpack Hoops as he put up 9 points and 7 assists, committing 0 turnovers, while filling in for the injured Javi Gonzalez.
