Pack Looks Towards Loyola

Sidney Lowe and the Wolfpack take the floor tomorrow against 4-7 Loyola Maryland, a team which sits in the cellar of the MAAC. The Pack is coming off an emotionally draining loss to the Marquette Golden Eagles, a game in which injury was added to insult with the loss of starting guard Trevor Ferguson. With a critical game against Florida looming, the Pack are hoping to take care of business while attempting to get comfortable with a new look line-up. State, fueled by the resurgence of Brandon Costner, is looking to finish out the non-conference schedule with a record of 11-2. That would include wins tomorrow, Wednesday, next week in Florida, and in the February game against NC Central. Those four wins would put the Pack in a good position for a NCAA Tournament bid.
