Wood Carries Marion Past Undefeated Danville

Danville Community is no longer undefeated because the Marion Giants nipped them by 2 points last night, 54 -52. NC State commit, Scott Wood, accounted for nearly 60% of Marion's offensive production (59%). He had 32 points shooting 7-14 from the field. He also had 9 boards and 3 blocks. Scott missed his first free-throw of the season last night as he shot 12-13 from the free-throw line.

Marion is now 4-1 on the year and Wood improved his scoring average to 27.8 ppg. Marion plays again on January 2nd at home versus East Noble.
