Tonight at 9pm, we are all privileged to be able to watch the 2009 Clash of the Titans! ESPN2 will be covering the matchup between LeFlore (18-2) and South Atlanta (14-1). This Monster Mash between two nationally ranked high school programs (South Atlanta #15 and LeFlore #19) should be intense. We know that representatives from the Pack coaching staff will be in attendance watching DeMarcus Cousins.
Word on the street is that the relationship between Cousins and the Pack has been growing ever since he pulled out of his commitment to UAB. Jerry Meyer of Rivals even put us in Cousins Top-2 along side Memphis. Apparently Zo Brown and Cousins have some sort of relationship from their paths crossing in the AAU circuit. Cousins and Favors have also developed a little bit of a heated rivalry over the years, and I can only imagine DeMarcus would love the opportunity to bang heads with his rival in the ACC. We know that this doesn't put Cousins in our pocket, but these simple facts can't hurt.
I don't know about you, but I'm a LeFlore fan tonight.
