Giving Credit Where it is Due: Ben McCauley

Big Ben has been one of NC State's most efficient all-around players in recent memory. As of late McCauley has jumped into an elite group in NC State history. He is one of only 9 players in the program's history to eclipse 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, and 200 assists. This is not the only dent that Ben will leave in the record books. Ben is currently shooting 56.6% from the field this year. If he continues to shoot at this percentage or better he will guarantee himself a seat at the table with the rest of NC State's most efficient shooters. Currently Ben boasts a 54% FG percentage which ties him with Larry Lakins (1962-65) for 9th place in NC State history. If you look at the Top-10 list you will realize that Ben could move even further up in the ranks as well.

Very few big men have come through the program who have been as balanced and efficient as Ben McCauley.
