Andrew Brackman pitched an inning yesterday, gave up 2 hits and one run. This morning he found out that he had been optioned to Class-A Charleston. This was no surprise as the Yankees have no need for him at the moment. Andrew will begin what should be a rather quick climb through the minors once he gets his mechanics back on track and polishes up his stuff a bit. The Yankees will be very conservative with Brackman's innings since he is coming off an injury.
