The event will be held at Apex High School and festivities will begin at 7pm. Tickets are $5 for students and $6 for adults. If you live around the area, it would be great if you would deck out in RED and come support Josh and the NC Special Olympics.

7 Responses to "Josh Davis Throwing Down for A Good Cause"WPH, if you are attending the event tonight, I am begging you to get some footage of Josh! There aren't many vids of Josh floating around. I'm sure that seeing him in action may show some folks that Sid can identify some 'sleepers' and that Josh's scholarship is deserved. If I wasn't obligated to work, I would be there in person. Good luck to Josh and to the Town of Apex's Charity. And, as always...Go Pack!
Ppack,
No doubt. We'll be there, camera in hand, for this event.
Expect a video soon after.
I won't be able to make it but I'm def looking forward to some footage. I know I've said this before, but I really appreciate you guys doing this. Keep up the good work WPH.
Go Pack!
I second John's comment, WPH.
Any updates from the Triangle Slam Dunk Challenge?
Sounds like good fun for a good cause.
Was there a decent attendance? How did Josh do? Hopefully some of the Wolfpack was there to cheer him on.
Thanks guys! It's 12am and I'm just getting back from editing the Josh Davis video (I'm in the process of uploading it...it's quite a task)
The event was good like usual. The Apex Police Dept. puts it on and it's always good fun. (I played in it years ago when I played at Apex
) It used to be a game where the Cops played the Jocks and the Cops picked up a college player or two. (Thornton one year and Grundy another). This year it was just a 3 point competition , a skills competition and a dunk contest.
The turnout was good and the fans got rowdy at times. I saw a few Wolfpack faithful up there and showing Josh some love. (Probably around 15 or so)
Josh did well. He was sporting a NC State Basketball dry fit T-shirt and got the crowd hyped up a few times w/ some nice slams. We'll have the video up shortly.
Josh placed 2nd. First place was taken by Earnest Ross from Panther Creek who is headed to Auburn.
was that a dry fit tee? I was not sure
