Wall "As Advertised" at Jordan Brand Classic

This was probably the first look most of America got of John Wall, the number #1 player in nation. The nation watched as he started off a bit slow, committing a bundle of turnovers and seeminly forced the issue. Slowly but surely Wall eased his way into the flow, and by the end of the game, Wall was a human highlight reel. John showcased his skills using his lightning quick crossovers and his violent spin moves. You can easily see why many dub him as the top player in his class, however he did not dominate the game or show a lot of leadership skills, but then again it was an all star game and you all know how those go. Wall ended the game with 8 points and 6 assists. He stated that he will visit Miami and then make a decision sooner than later. We'll be waiting, John.

I missed it. Did he narrow his list down or are we going to have to wait a bit longer. I need some nerve medication with this recruit.

I don't think he narrowed his list down. At least they didn't show it during the game as far as I remember. He still has an official visit to Miami to go on so it would be kinda weird for him to narrow the list then go there, imo.

IMO, I think the reason he didn't narrow his list is because Miami is NOT in this top 3, but he still has a visit slated with them. It'd be kind of in bad taste to narrow it down and not include a school when you scheduled a visit. More out of respect to the coaches if anything.

Someone said that he would narrow his list down to 3 by this week? Is that true?

I think John has been consistent in saying what his plans are and anyone trying to hurry him probably does more harm than good. He knows the State program, players, and coaches and is going to make a bunch of people very happy. I hope it's us.
