Wall's List Ready By Friday

The N&O caught up with John Wall Tuesday and said that he's in the decision making stage of his recruitment. Obviously, Wall has a gigantic decision to make, a decision that will surely break the hearts of coaches and fans all over the nation. On Friday, Wall will narrow his list to what is believed to be 3 or 4 schools, however some say he will narrow the list to only 2. Honestly, at this point you can stop listening to what "others have to say" and hear what John himself had to say:

"It is a really tough decision right now," he said. "I know my mom is ready for me to decide, and I am, too, but I'm still working on it. I'm still at eight schools," Wall said. "There is no leader."

You better believe that this is honestly a gut-wrenching process for John and his family. We do know that he and Coach Lowe have a good relationship, but we also know that coaches throughout the nation are telling him exactly what he wants to hear. What will be the biggest factor of final decision? Loyalty? Location? Coaching? Exposure? We can all speculate, but only John Wall has this answer.

    Attention All Wolfpack Fans,

If you have nothing to do tonight then please come out and support Josh Davis in the slam dunk contest. If is for a very good cause and also we can get a first look at this kid for those of you who have not seen him in person. He has a wonderful family and a great personality and he will represent NC State well for the next 4 years. I am going to see him and I think it would make this kid feel awesome and loved if we would all put on some NC State red and come out and support Josh Davis tonight!!! You never know I am thinking John Wall may be there himself and it would show support that we NC State fans follow our guys no matter if they are playing in a high school gym or at NC State so lets support and do not wear neutral colors wear that bright nc state red to let them all know we are great fans and support our players!!!!!! Josh Davis good look tonight bring the house down brother!!!!!! John Wall you have a tough decision to make and I ask you to just give us a shot and run with the Pack and you will have all of the fan support of you coming in to help turn the program around and you will be the NC State savior at point guard to bridge the gap until Harrow gets here. We would all support you playing here for 1 year and then going pro and we would not give you any negativity about doing that like some schools would. Sidney Lowe is a great man, a great mentor, a NBA mind, we run NBA sets and he has connections at the next level to get you evaulated all throughout the year. You seem to be a wonderful human being and your family does as well and you would fit right in with Wolfpack Nation Mr. Wall!!! Make your mom proud and let's hang a banner at NC State next year of some sort... With you and Lorenzo in the back court and intangibles of Howell,Smith,Horner,Wood,Davis,Vandenberg,Javy,Mays,CJ, Degand we would be a very deep team and very solid in the practice facilities and we could make something special happen next year. Do you want to be a part of something special John Wall if so commit to NC State and let's let destiny take over from there. Thanks to Wolfpack Hoops for everything you guys do for us. You guys will never know how much it means to us true wolfpack fans to have a positive site to come to and to make great friends with some of the guys on the message boards. GO WOLFPACK!!!!!!!

It seems that there are at least 8 schools holding a scholarship open in hopes that JW will run with their teams. That's a lot of pressure for a high school senior; no matter how good he is.

John, as much as we want you to play for the Wolfpack, you will probably have a good run no matter where you go. So try this: write the name of each school on a slip of paper and put it in a hat. The moment you draw out a slip of paper, you'll know what you hope you drew. Then you'll know where YOU really want to go.

    I hope it's NC State.

It might be gut wrenching for all of us fans but John Wall never asked for the media attention. The kid is simply trying to make an important decision. John take your time. Any school will be happy to have you and any school that you don't play for will hate to play against you. Good luck to you and I hope you are happy with any decision you make.

We should make the switch to NIKE today. I hate to be cynical but this would REALLY help our chances. It's time to but ties with Adidas.

If you change your shoe deal over one recruit, that's no different than hiring an assistant coach over one player.

My shoe deal comment is regarding more than just Wall. Believe it or not...us not being a NIKE school matters.
