Mychal Parker at the TOC
This was the only game that we were able to catch Mychal at this past weekends TOC. The highlight reel is rather short, but that is due to the fact that the game was rather uneventful. Mychal scored 13 points in the first half, but didn't play a whole bunch in the second half due to the game being a blowout (the game also ended early due to a 'mercy rule.'). We look forward to hopefully getting more film of Mychal this weekend.

4 Responses to "Mychal Parker at the TOC"Looks like a great fit for the team. Potentially a player with skill and IQ of a player like CJ Williams but with the length and bounce that would add another dimension to the SF position in '10.
Wood (great perimeter shooting), Parker (athleticism, length) and either Thomas or Davis (energy, defense) would give Lowe different SF weapons to match up with virtually any type opponent at various segments of contest.
We (via WPH) will get the best look so far this weekend so it's just another great reason to be pumped about Wolfpack basketball and the excitment thats building.
I appreciate all you do WPH, and I really like your site. However, I was just wondering if you could post full length games of recruits... I know that may be to much to ask for, but figured i might as well.
^The server that we use will not let us upload a file that size...it would be gynormous! We will look into other options though.
This is the only video of Parker I've seen other than the single-dunk video circulating. But it looks like that's going to change soon, congrats on the Pango trip WPHs!
From the sparse video i've seen, and the praise he gets from all the recruiting sites, Mychal seems like he definitely fits into the new system. Like many of Sid&Co.'s recruits, he's athletic, quick, and can run and handle the ball. He's talented, and has the potential to play a couple positions and be utilized in mismatches. And he's got some size.
(If it were my choice) with the 2/3 scholarship situation next year, I'd offer scholarships to all of our our current big-time recruits, and take the first to reliably commit. With Harrow, any one or two of Parker/Cothron/Leslie would be a great pick-up. They're all multi-dimensional players who compliment the new system well.
I am so excited about Ryan Harrow committing to NC State. He's going to have a very big impact on Wolfpack basketball. Good luck at the Pangos Ryan! (and Cothron and Parker!) and have a good time covering it WPHs! I'm looking forward to the reports.
