9 Responses to "Lorenzo Brown Highlight Reel"He's going to be something special. Still continue to be impressed with his leaping ability - which I did not know he had so much of until recently. Hope he hangs his jersey in the rafters at the RBC one day.
Wow, so I guess he likes to throw it down! Hope he has a jumper to go with that thunder. Looking forward to seeing you play in the red and white ZO!
Ohhh ZO how I will love to see you posterizing anyone who gets in your way. To me he plays bigger than an average 2 guard but he still has more handles than a doorknob.
Brown and Harrow together will be downright magical.
I tell you want he loves to drive and penenetrate to the lane. If he can shoot him and harrow should be a dangerous combination.
Do you have videos of Zo primarily shooting?

I agree 100% with you he does love to drive and penenetrate to the lane. That why I believe he will really open things up for Scott Wood on the corner at the SF spot. With the defense colapsing when he enters the lane, this should really open things up for 3 pointers all day long. This gives him the flexablity to drive not to always have to put up a circus shot.
Besides lacking pure point guard play in recent years, we have also lacked player(s) who aggressively wanted to challenge the opposition by taking it straight at them. The benefits in having players like that goes well beyond the points that they may score individually, but those types of players keep the opposing interior players on their heels and also create foul problems for them as well. As stated above though, a workable shooting form would certainly be welcomed in Brown's case, but from what I've read, I think that is something he might need to work on after arriving in Raleigh???
Either way, having several options with players who are a constant threat to penetrate and force the issue is definitely something that we haven't possessed in Raleigh for quite a while. That aggressive attitude should only open things up and make it easier on everyone else on the offensive end, especially our PG, whomever that may be.
Every video I see of Scott wood the more I fall in love with him. His ability to shoot the 3 from basically anywhere, and Lorenzo ability to drive to the cup will give scott wood alot of open opportunities. And with Tracy Deshawn and Richard banging down low, this should be a awesome team coming next year along with ryan harrow and 1 more player.
