The buzzer beater is one of the more exhilarating experiences in all of sports...for the winning team. Losing at the buzzer on the other hand just might be the most deflating thing in all of sports. While last nights game was definitely exhilarating, it was deflating for the US team, who fell to the Australian team 77-79. Tennessee commit Jordan McRae led the US team with 19 points on the night (McRae also plays with Ryan Harrow on the Celtics). Ryan Harrow didn't play for the third straight game due to an ankle injury. This makes the US team 0-3 thus far in the World Basketball Tournament.
