Saturday In Vegas (Harrow Hits The Jackpot)

****The Atlanta Celtics just defeated Playaz Basketball Club Cold 98-88. You might say that NC State Commit Ryan Harrow had something to do with the victory, considering the fact that he just told us that he had 36 points and 8 assists. Ryan has carried the Celtics to the Elite 8 and they will play the Memphis Magic Elite tomorrow at 10:20am (1:20pm EST).

***Quincy Miller and the D-ONE crew have put it all together out in Vegas. Quincy just let us know that after flirting with a triple-double all week, he finally brought one home tonight with a line of 19 points, 18 rebounds and 10 blocks. D-ONE has won three straight games.

**Ryan Harrow just told us that Luke Cothron played well and scored 11 points.

The Atlanta Celtics continued to tear through the competition, winning their third straight game. Ryan Harrow told us that he had 21 points and 10 assists and they will be back in action at 6:45pm (9:45pm EST)

D-ONE continued to play good defense and reeled in another win. Quincy Miller told us he had 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks.

Ryan is a walking double double (points/assists).

Man, this is getting ridiculous. Ryan will be the most anticipated recruit in Raleigh since at least Julius Hodge. JH's first year was what? 2001?

If he continues this performance against the Memphis Magic he will see a bump in his rankings before the fall. They have Joe Jackson on that team and if he takes it to Jackson then he is going to turn more heads than he ever has. This is a big test for the Celtics but I guarantee you Ryan is trying to prove a point and win this thing.

Hopefully Ryan will take Mr. Jackson to school and maybe they can meet up with that Canada team again in the championship game.

Any idea what Luke did tonight?

Nevermind, I just looked at the bracket and Canada lost.

Harrow did beat Joe Jackson heads up earlier at the Real Deal but it was a close one, ending with a buzzer beater.

    The stat line:

    Harrow: 22 points (9-19 FG, 4 assists, 1 turnover, 3 rebounds)

    Jackson: 17 points (6-14 FG, 3 turnovers, 2 assists and 5 rebounds)

I would not be surprised if the whole tournament is buzzing about this rematch tomorrow.

Is it true that Cothron got injured?

Don't think that Cothron got injured...Ryan didn't mention that at all. I asked how Luke did in the last game and he said that he did ok.

    ^BTW Kar,

I don't know if you saw it on the other thread, but we apologize for the debacle of the deleted comments. You were fully in your right to post that information, since it wasn't from another sites' premium information. Feel free to re-post your info.

According to this report, Luke was carried off with a dislocated kneecap. How serious an injury is that? I'm sure all State fans wish him a speedy recovery.

Big time numbers from Harrow. I hope Cothron is OK.

Very disturbing to read the report that the UK blog writer put down regarding Luke. If this in fact the case then all the best wishes and prayers for a speedy recovery. Hopefully it will be something that rest and PT can resolve and that he will be set to go in enough time for Sr. season.

Congrat's once again to Ryan Harrow who is showing the basketball world what he's made of. His increase in production since taking some time off is amazing in itself, but even more telling of his talents is the fact that he is no longer a secret out there on the circuit. In less then a years time he has gone from way off anyone's radar to 5* phenom who dazzles the crowds in events where most guys are used to the center of attention back at home.

He may prove to be a bigger incoming recruit then Jules because it is clear, IMO, that Lowe and Harrow are on the same page in terms of what kind of style they will bring to the game. If I remember correctly Hodges was a big time prep player who was showing up in Raleigh at the same time Sendek was "tinkering" with his offensive philosophy (and you have to use the word philosophy in it's literal meaning when it's being applied to Herb).

Thanks WPH. No problem I can understand why you felt it could potentially be taken from premium. One of my friends mentioned that horner had surgery. I'm guessing its not too serious since not a lot of people are goin crazy over it..
