i'm sorry, that harrow play was the best one on there. i know people like to glamorize the dunks but the degree of difficulty on that whole play was so much higher than all those dunks. ryan just makes it look too smooth and easy i guess. c'mon webb, you know it's true.

I agree j.sol. I was thinking the whole time I watched that.... where are all of the impressive "PLAYS"? A dunk is just a shot with authority. There are some impressive ones, but nothing close to Harrow.

    Some Notes about this video:

This summer was full of exciting plays and we wanted a chance have highlight them in one video, so the number of the play isn't as important as the fact that it made the countdown. I've seen these plays hundreds of times in the editing room so, for me, a lot of them seem watered down.

After having the video out for a bit now here are the plays that were probably underrated:

    #15 Ryan Harrow
    #13 TaShawn Mabry's putback dunk
#4 Dion Waiters head high alley oop

Also, wanted to make sure to shout out Quincy at #12 and a pretty unknown 2011 player Ike Nwamu at #5. Ike plays high school ball with Deuce at Westchester Country Day. Kid is thick and athletic and has a sweet stroke from behind the arc - definitely someone to watch this season.

To find descriptions of the plays and the players involved in them visit highlighthoops.blogspot.com and you will find it there.

As always, thanks for the support guys! It's always appreciated.

If Ryans play was on ESPN itd make the top plays for 2009....

Something to be said to beat 4 players, cutting through the def, backwards through the legs, then a nolook self-tap pass to his teammate. State hasnt seen a player like that in 20 years

i cant believe that anderson guy at the end was only gonna be a sophomore, he was huge and was dunking like he was in college.

RH should be in the top five, probably third.

Agree with Leslie being no. 1. He was fouled hard but still threw it down.

But, Dion Waiters should be no. 2. Dude's head was an inch or two above the rim. Now that's what I call Hops.

Those three were the one's that made me say Wooooooo!

yeah that dion dunk was pretty sick just based on how high the kid got. i gotta hand it to cj on finishing through a hard foul, so i think it's well deserved to at the top. i just had to grease up one ent. to get some love for our boy, haha. still though, good job on the video, you always do a great job and we always love checkin em out when they make it here on wolfpack hoops.

    stay up.

^no, you forgot Stargell Love breaking 3 defenders' ankles. That kid is nasty.

Waiters should've been #1. Teague's lil bro dunks just like Jeff.

^Agree with the Stargell vote...that play was pretty nasty, and watching a top recruit go face down was sweet.
