Now, after continuing to get emails, and calls from people claiming that Ryan is, despite our reports, heading to Word of God, we decided to talk to the person in charge of this decision in order to get the final word and clear things up once and for all.
"You can tell people you spoke directly to his mother and the answer is No! I love my son-in-law but Ryan will complete his senior year at Walton High School in GA" Ryan's mother told us via email.
So there it is. Although, many Pack fans would have loved Harrow to be playing within driving distance, the decision his mother has made is most likely the correct one. Ryan will be in Raleigh in less than a year, so spending his final year close to his family is probably a wise decision.

8 Responses to "Harrow's Mother Quiets Rumors"Great to hear, great decision by his mom to keep him away from WoG and all of the handlers that accompany that program.
Bravo madame
Good decision. Finish up at the school your at, theres good competition and your making a name for yourself in the state of Georgia. IMO the competition WOG plays is considerablly lower than what a AAAA or AAA school would play. Aslong as his grade situation is ok, I support the decision.
Any word if his school will compete in the Glaxo Smith tourney like Lo Brown did last year??
Walton will be at the Glaxo.
Fantastic news about Glaxo!!!
This is a side note and I have no credible source behind this, but to me common sense would tell me that with Ryans brother-in-law being then new coach at WOG, he would have positive feelings towards Sid and NC State. At the very least he can speak on State in a positive light since a family member is attending the school, which can help out wiht Leslie, Wells, Daniels & co. Maybe he can show Leslie the light....
Thanks for the update WPH. I was wondering what was going on with this situation. Harrow's mom seems like a great lady and I hope all parents get this involved in their kids recruitment like she has.
We'll see you at the Glaxo Ryan and here's to you being the Metro POY 2 years in a row.
Thank God
I'm sure he would love to come and help his brother-in-law out in his first year but there is an entire team counting on him. He's true to his commitment and that characteristic is hard to find in kids these days. I think he made the right decision. It's also good to know he'll have family in Raleigh when he comes to play for State.
