We just wanted to inform you that we have been contacted by Raycom Sports (the official network of the ACC), and will be doing a little bit of writing for their new "NC State Blog" this football and basketball season. The blog will be part of their new network that covers each team in the ACC on a separate blog. Our articles on Raycom will be content exclusively for their site about NC State. However, nothing will be changing here, as our first priority is, and always will be, Wolfpack Hoops and Wolfpack Pigskin.We just feel that this is a good chance to help us grow and to help us get our name out there. What we are most excited about is the opportunity to get some positive press out about all the good things going on with the NC State Football and Basketball programs. We will be contributing an article or two per week to Raycom and hope you will help support the growth of their blog network. As for us, don't worry, everything here will go on as normal and we will still be providing you with the same service that we have been for almost a year now.
We just always think it's important to keep everyone in "the loop" with what it going on behind the scenes here, since this has grown into more of a community than just a news website (something we are certainly happy about). If anyone has any questions, comments or concerns, please let us know...and again, thank you for all of your support!

It's just a weekly article for them...we'll still be here catering to all your Wolfpack Basketball and Football needs 7 days a week here on Wolfpack Hoops/Pigskin, like we always do!
We just put in a lot of hard work and think gaining a few more readers wouldn't hurt.
Not to mention Wolfpack Hoops and Wolfpack Pigskin have some big things on the way...including forums, which everyone's been asking for.

I hear that Luke Cothron decided not to transfer schools and will stay in North Carolina.
I gotta say I'm not excited about the prospect of forums here. This is a nice oasis from the poo flinging that is a sports forum. Please visit other forums and reconsider.
Anon, they are going to keep the same positive image in the forums (at least I think that is the plan) because the moderators will be deleting negative comments, just like WPH does on the comments now

We are going to go with the strength by numbers approach in the forums.
We have a good amount of people that have been contributing from the very start that understand our vision and have offered us their services to help moderate.
Again, negative comments are not frowned upon if they are objective. When it starts to become bashing or finger pointing is when we have a problem with it.
I think overall it will work fine, but it will certainly be more moderated than other message boards you read.
and by the way...we rarely have to delete any comments these days.
