VIDEO: Luke Cothron: 2009 Boo Williams Nike Invitational Vol. 2

As promised here is Vol. 2 of Luke Cothron's highlight's from this past weekends 2009 Boo Williams Nike Invitational Tournament. Luke put up a solid double-double of 18 and 11 in this game against the Carolina Ravens (Luke had a double-double in 3 out of 4 games at the tourney.).
We caught up with Luke at after the game and were able to speak with him a bit. He is very well spoken and polite and had some nice things to say about the Pack. Here's some quotes from the conversation:
(when asked about NC State's Recruiting Efforts:)
Luke Cothron: Yeah NC State is recruiting me pretty hard, actually Coach Lowe was up at my gym a few weeks back watching me workout.
(when asked whether NC State would be considered one of his leaders:)
Luke Cothron: Oh yeah, NC State is one of my leaders right now.
Keep checking back as we'll be posting our 3rd video of Luke from the Boo either tonight or tomorrow. From watching him play we can honestly say that we believe landing Luke would be a GIANT step in turning this program into one of the nations elite. With the commitment of Ryan Harrow (if you haven't seen his video PLEASE check this out), the possible commitments of CJ Leslie and Luke Cothron, you're looking at a team that would more than likely contend for a top spot on the ACC.

Cothron, Wall, Leslie, Deuce, and others are really something special. Lowe has done a great job of evaluating talent early and Cothron seems to be no exception. Reel em in Sid.

Add Ryan Kelly, Mason Plumlee, Reggie Bullock and P.J. Hairston to that list and you realize good ol NC isn't doing half bad.
I'm loving this Cothron kid...what are tandem Leslie and Luke would be!
Hopefully Sid is all over this guy. He'd be a fan favorite right away with that clean throwback fade he's got going on in his profile pic!
hope these 3 kids get to know each other over the spring and summer. These 3 to go with the current 09' class would be HUGE !!
Where you guys at on this Vincent Williams recruit?
It would be amazing to land those 3 guys to couple with our '09 incoming class. How many scholarships are we going to have for next year? 3, if we hold one from this year?
We'll have something on him soon. There's not much to say.
-Sid is going to look at him next week or end of this week.
-Won't offer unless he's blown away since we're set on guards.
-We don't think it's going to happen. But if he really WOW's Sid, then who knows.
Williams sounds pretty interesting- the thought that something negative could come out (Javi, Mays leaving or worse Zo not enrolling) being released to the public always sneaks into my mind when another '09 PG not named Wall is mentioned.
Still- it doesn't hurt to give the player an honest look- Towe is really doing his best to show Coach Lowe some players out there a bit out of the limelight.
I'm a Duke grad/fan, but I just wanted to say I appreciate the work that you did this past weekend at Boo Williams. Good luck.
