Great interview fellas! Now will someone call his mom and hook it up! I would love to see this kid in the red and white! His swagger really reminds me of Julius, but his game might have the potential to be better.

Seems like a great kid with a good head on his shoulders. Very well spoken and knows the game, not to mention is one of the top players in the class. Come on down Will, one of the things people most often note about NC State is the family atmosphere that surrounds the school.

Sounds like Sid needs to get in good with momma.

Did you guys get the impression he might have been talking up State because of WHP is a State site? Plenty of kids tell people what they want to hear and there's nothing wrong with that because these kids are constantly getting pulled in a million directions.

Well, Sid is Family. Will should feel right at home in Raleigh. I notice the abscence of schools like UNC and Duke on Will's list. That's a great sign. Seriously, Will seems like a great guy, and he will certainly have a huge impact on whatever school he chooses. But...Could anyone imagine a two man recruiting class with Ryan and Will? That would be incredible! Go Pack!

I am VERY impressed with Will. A very down to earth personable kid with EXTREME game. Knowledgeable in the history of basketball and even threw out an academics shout out which at his skill level he really doesn't have to do. It will be very interesting to see if Lowe & co still have those Maryland/DC/dematha connects and if that will play a role. We already know Sid is sending out the big gun (larry harris) to personally attract Will to State. LOVE IT!!! He would look great with Ryan and Lo Brown at the 1&2. Great job this weekend WPH!!! Its obvious you guys worked your asses off getting great stuff (even though watching basketball isnt the hardest thing!!! :) )
    Go Pack

Like I said before, it would be great to have that kid around in Raleigh for awhile. I think what is needed now a leap of faith, just like one former NC State player/now NBA player, has already taken. The NC State BB program is not forgotten, it lives on even in these kids of today. It's just unfortunate that Barton is forced to go back and speak of his knowledge about a single shot that happened over twenty five years ago.

COME ON WILL BARTON!!! YOU CAN CHANGE ALL OF THAT BY STARTING A WHOLE NEW CHAPTER OF NC STATE BB GREATNESS AS SOON AS YOU COME TO TOWN!!!

personality reminds me a lot of hodge.

WPH, you guys have a nice interview style. seems like kids are more comfortable/ willing to open up.

being that he is pretty savvy (like hodge) i kinda feel like he might have been blowing smoke regarding NC State... we'll see

"I know I'm gonna have a big impact wherever I go." You gotta love it when a kid has that much confidence. Very good interview.

He does seem like a good kid, but as far as our chances of landing him (not to be pessimistic just realistic), I have to think they're slim: 1. 2010 is limited in scholarships, and 2. We have to take the kind words from him in this interview as walking the line to an NCSU biased media outlet (no need to upset State fans when he doesn't need to). However, it was nice to be the only ACC school on his (lengthy) list.

This interview and the 1 on 1 with WPH does remind me of Jules. I like the way he conducts himself and that he seems to genuinely enjoy playing the game.

I do like how he's a bit informed about the university's history and he seems like genuinely good kid. After that interview though, you can tell Kentucky is the school to beat because he mentioned them right after us and was pretty emphatic about it. (Let's be honest, he mentioned us with the reporter in mind)

Well if Big Will came to State, I guess we would be playing a 3 guard offense with him, Harrow and Brown. Through in some combo of Tracey, Painter and Howell and you have a damn good starting 5.

if his mom controls his recruitment then we should have a VERY good shot. All the moms love Lowe. (not in that way, haha) It seems parents relate especially well to Lowe, most likely since he is such a well mannered polite guy with a smile always on his face. Basically he is someone who you feel like you can trust.

Great interview guys. I really appreciate you doing video interviews. It gives us a sense of what you guys get to see at these tournaments.

Will seems like a great guy. I think he would really love NC State if he is able to come for a visit.

Hey Mrs. Barton, please bring your son to come see NC State University. It is a beautiful family atmosphere with great coaches who have plenty of NBA connections!

Wasnt that Luke Cothron at 00:35. I like the fact that all of our 2010 recruits know each other and that they play together here. Im not worried about the scholarship situation....If barton and cothron both want to come sid will find a way

Just a reminder that we still have more highlight video to come as well as a couple other interviews. Bear with us as it takes a little bit longer to pop out videos. Again, thank you so much for all your support.

I believe he is the reason we haven't "officially" offered Parker. Probably don't need both, and Will is definitely more of an immediate impact player. Seems like a great kid. Maybe they can connect Cal to some of the Memphis crap, and Kentucky will end up like Indiana did with Kelvin Sampson.

Nice interview WPH! Will seems like a great kid and I wish him luck wherever he goes. I know others have said this, but he does remind me of Julius Hodge personality wise. Based on some of the interviews I've read/seen, we'd be lucky to have any of these guys don the Red & White. They all seem like class individuals, which is a testament to their parents. I'm glad Will knows about our history and the dunk in 83.

WPH what do you think of this vid I made? First time I've made a vid, so don't be too harsh, haha.

Brass Monkey, even I couldn't remember back far enough for some of those Wolfpack BB moments, but that that was a great trip down memory lane.

    Good stuff my man!!!

As far as Sidney Lowe, he has shown an ability to relate to these kids of today, and that's a great asset to have in our corner. But with that said, even I'll have to admit that I am waitng to see Sidney Lowe put his own personal STAMP on this program.

There are many different approaches to putting a face on a BB program, and that is something that I honestly thought Lowe would accomplish immediately, almost upon his arrival back in Raleigh. I not worried so much about the coaching aspect, he's showing signs of heading in the right direction already there, at least with the younger players that Sidney brought into the program anyway.

We're three years in and the transistion period is officially over. I'm not blaming Lowe here but we're still searching for certain player(s) who will set up and take leadership roles out on the BB court, while at same tie hoping to solidify the PG position for the upcoming. That I understand, but from now on I just want to see SIDNEY LOWE'S WOLFPACK playing the game with ALL OUT INTENSITY and exactly as SIDNEY LOWE wants it to be played.

Just a general note to everyone on this site... 1) my typing is beyond terrible 2) and I don't proof read ANYTHING.

Just let me know if you have any trouble deciphering my own personal version of the english language, or if you need me to fill in any one of the many skipped words. I'm really not that old either, it's sad.

Will seems like a great guy. Even if he doesn't come to State, I seriously wish him nothing but the best. If he does come here I am 100% certain that he will be welcomed with open arms.

Also, WPhoops, you guys are doing a great job of representing our university.
